Mohammed Al-Mehri, a young man from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was involved in a car accident in 2015. The accident left him with quadriplegia, severe muscle spasticity, fractures in both arms and legs, loss of speech, and an inability to eat except through a feeding tube inserted into his abdomen. He also suffered from severe constipation, colon issues, and memory loss.
His brother, Abdulaziz, said that doctors in several major countries unanimously confirmed that Mohammed had no possibility of treatment or recovery, as he had a rare combination of disabilities and complications all in one body.
Yet, the motto raised by Professor Mohammed Al-Buqai’i is:
“As long as the soul is in the body, it is possible to restore any non-functioning organ to its normal state or close to normal.”
Al-Buqai’i, known as the “Body Engineer,” is the founder of the sciences of Body Engineering and manual therapy, and possesses over 45 years of accumulated expertise.
According to Abdulaziz, his brother Mohammed improved by 50% in the first stage of treatment, describing hope now as bright as the full moon in its fourteenth night.
Professor Al-Buqai’i explained that Mohammed had successfully gotten rid of the abdominal feeding tube, overcame constipation, and his esophagus and pharyngeal muscles were rehabilitated, enabling him to eat orally. This significantly helped improve his weight, speech, and memory. He also regained the ability to fully extend his left leg.
Abdulaziz did not hide the overwhelming joy of his family and loved ones in Saudi Arabia as they received news of these tangible improvements. They raise their hands in prayer, asking Allah to bless the Body Engineer with more success, excellence, and inspiring achievements.
As Professor Al-Buqai’i describes it, Mohammed was once “out of coverage,” after renowned international hospitals had declared that there was no cure and no recovery for him—leaving him beyond the reach of hope and treatment.
And we say, for the thousandth time:
Yes, Professor—It is your right, as a true professional, that we raise our hats in honor of your mind, your academic, research, and practical expertise.
And it is equally our right, as Jordanians, to be proud of you—and to let the world know of our pride.
