Manual therapy was known among Arabs and some Eastern societies; however, it lacked a clear scientific and practical methodology.

Due to the delay of modern medicine during those successive historical periods, the prevailing approach in certain regions relied on individuals who claimed to possess scattered and limited experience—sometimes successful, but often failing. This fragmented practice dominated the scene for a long time.

This “painful” reality continued until the early 1980s, when a young Jordanian rebelled against it—Mohammad Khaled Al-Buqai.

Al-Buqai mounted the saddle of academic and scientific research, traveling across the world in search of everything new in manual therapy. His tireless efforts bore fruit; his expertise accumulated, his books multiplied, and his research adorned the covers of specialized international journals.

The results of his white revolution against this declining reality were remarkable across three dimensions: academic, research, and practical. He founded the sciences of Body Engineering and Manual Therapy, becoming unique on a global level.

Professor Al-Buqai began treating patients from all corners of the world after his reputation spread—especially in treating severe and complex cases that had received final medical reports from major international hospitals stating: “No treatment, no cure.”

Establishing a commercial project, a company, an institution, a factory, or even a university is something many have done before.
But establishing an independent science—that is what is extraordinary, and that is the heart of the matter.

Perhaps the case of Noura Al-Subaihan from the Land of the Two Holy Mosques—who arrived at Al-Buqai World like a motionless doll and later completed her university studies with excellence—stands as living proof of Professor Al-Buqai’s capabilities and of his white revolution against the past.

And perhaps the case of the child Asid Al-Qawaqneh, who was born deaf and left Al-Buqai World fully healed, perfectly echoes the words of the great poet Al-Mutanabbi:

“I am the one whose poetry the blind could see,
and whose words were heard by those who were deaf.”

Yes, ladies and gentlemen—Al-Buqai is the one who enabled Al-Qawaqneh to hear words and melodies.

Between Noura and Asid lie tens of thousands of people for whom the world had grown unbearably narrow, and whose safe treatment came at the hands of the scientist of the age—Al-Buqai.

And next week—God willing—Al-Buqai’s plane will land at Cairo International Airport, heading to the Faculty of Science at Cairo University, where he will deliver a lecture on the sciences of Body Engineering, after the university hosted him as a Visiting Professor
