The profession of blacksmithing is known to be one of the most demanding trades, requiring both physical endurance and sharp mental focus.
When blacksmith Mohammad Al-Zuyout suffered a herniated disc, he was forced to close his workshop and stay home, waiting for a glimmer of hope to recover.
Al-Zuyout recalls, “One therapist used to tie my legs and hang me from the ceiling for fifteen minutes each time — to no avail. Another used cupping therapy, a third used a mortar pestle, pressing it on my joint while pulling my legs hard — also useless. A fourth used a long stick to press on my spinal joints while pulling my feet — again, no benefit at all.”
He continues, “I reopened my workshop right after finishing my final session at Al-Buqai World for Natural Therapy.”
Professor Mohammad Khaled Al-Buqai, known as the Body Engineer, treats patients with his hands — not with sticks, pestles, or cupping tools like many others do.
Al-Zuyout explains, “I had disc herniations between the third and fourth, and fourth and fifth vertebrae, pressing on the nerve, which left me bedridden and unable to move. Doctors recommended urgent surgery as my condition worsened, but I refused after hearing from many people about the uncertain success rate of such operations.”
“A friend advised me to visit Al-Buqai World in Irbid, and after just the second session, I started feeling better. By the tenth session, I was back to my workshop, working as usual.”
Professor Al-Buqai clarifies that he is not a medical doctor, but rather a therapist specializing in manual healing. He holds a Ph.D. in Biology from one of Russia’s top universities, along with two Master’s degrees.
He has traveled to countries renowned for their expertise in natural healing — India, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Russia — returning to Irbid with a wealth of experience that he combined with his over 40 years of hands-on practice.
In the next step, he merged his academic knowledge with his practical experience, founding the Science of Body Engineering and Manual Therapy.
Dr. Al-Buqai is not a traditional folk healer or an amateur practitioner. He understands the minute details of the human body — where to begin treatment, and how to conclude it.
Planes land at airports carrying patients bound for Al-Buqai World for Natural Therapy in eastern Irbid near Al-Buqai Mosque, and others depart after recovery — their passengers distributing sweets in celebration of healing and renewed life.
Indeed, Dr. Al-Buqai has lifted Jordan’s name high, revitalized medical tourism, and built a factory of joy, planting in his garden the bright flowers of hope.
