The President of the Egyptian Karate Federation and Chairman of the Board of Al-Zohour Club, Counselor Dr. Mohammad Al-Dabardash, accompanied by Mr. Salah Al-Ghazali, received Dr. Hanshi Mohammad Khaled Al-Buqai, Chairman of the Board of Shotokan Karate, at the headquarters of Al-Zohour Club in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. The official visit aimed to strengthen frameworks of joint sports cooperation between the two sides.

The visit focused on discussing ways to accredit a specialized Shotokan Karate school under the umbrella of the Egyptian Karate Federation in the coming period, in light of the significant technical and educational importance of this discipline and its role in preparing a disciplined, competitive generation of athletes.

During the meeting, attendees praised the efforts exerted to develop Karate and Shotokan in Egypt, emphasizing the importance of institutional partnerships in raising technical standards and expanding the adoption of certified schools in accordance with the highest professional criteria.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Hanshi Mohammad Khaled Al-Buqai, Chairman of the Board of Shotokan Karate, awarded 9th Dan Black Belt certificates in Shotokan Karate to Counselor Dr. Mohammad Al-Dabardash and Mr. Salah Al-Ghazali, in recognition of their distinguished careers and continuous support for the sport—an initiative that reflects the depth of cooperation and mutual appreciation between sports leaders.
